Steel coil paper tubes are high-strength paper coil cores specially designed for the steel industry. They are used to support and wind steel coils (cold-rolled steel coils, hot-rolled steel coils, galvanized steel coils, etc.), protecting the steel coils from deformation during transportation and storage, and facilitating mechanical handling at the same time.

High-strength load-bearing capacity

It is rolled with multiple layers of thickened kraft paper or high-strength yarn tube paper, with a dynamic compressive strength of 5 to 20 tons (depending on the specification), and has better static load-bearing capacity.

It has a high surface hardness, is impact-resistant, and can prevent the edges of the steel coil from being damaged by bumps.

Precise size fit

Inner diameter range: φ508mm (20 inches), φ610mm (24 inches) (Other sizes can be customized).

Wall thickness: 10-30mm, length customized according to the width of the steel coil (commonly 1-2 meters).

Moisture-proof and rust-proof

Some products have undergone waterproof coating treatment (such as polyethylene film coating) to prevent the paper tubes from getting damp and softening, and to reduce the risk of rusting at the contact surface between the steel coil and the paper tube.
